What Changed & Why

1. Case-Sensitivity Problem Remediation:

   • The on-disk directory name was lowercase docs, while git was tracking all enclosed files under Docs/ due to a historical capital-D prefix in the index.
   • On case-sensitive filesystems (Linux CI, case-sensitive APFS containers), this created directory splits and missed paths.
   • Executed two-step atomic index normalization via linked worktree fix/bitroo-docs-casing-issue-20260916-16:
     • git mv Docs docs_tmp
     • git mv docs_tmp docs
   • Verified all 7 files now cleanly tracked under docs/.

2. Verification & Testing:

   • Ran swift test across the full test suite.
   • Verified 39 / 39 tests passed (100.0%) in 0.214s.
   • Verified no broken path references across code or scripts.

3. Commits, Merges & Remotes:

   • Committed 7a8ef92 on branch fix/bitroo-docs-casing-issue-20260916-16.
   • Fast-forward merged into main on canonical rdmsm4x:~/dev/apps/bitROO.
   • Pushed main to fleet (git.ecs0.net:git/apps/bitROO.git), origin (github.com:richhdoty/rdmsm4x-apps-bitroo.git), and backup (github.com:richhdoty/rdmsm4x-dev-apps-bitroo.git).
   • Cleanly removed worktree /Users/richh/dev/_worktrees/bitroo-docs-casing-issue-20260916-16 and deleted branch.
